Xile Frederick Street
Founded in 1984, Xile burst onto the Edinburgh fashion scene with style and attitude. It mixed underground fresh fashion labels with top brands like Diesel, G Star and Replay and was the only place to be seen throughout the 80s and 90s. From there, this small independent grew into the larger company it is today, with three shops in the capital and one store across the way in Glasgow, bringing you the top fashion labels from around the globe. After lying pretty low for a few years we thought it was the right time to step out the shadows and get the design hats on. So 13 looks like the lucky number as this year we have decided to open the ultimate fashion destination with an Xile superstore; all of your favourite brands under one massive roof with two floors of fashion, music and culture. The plans have been finalised, the designs tweaked and re-tweaked and the keys are safely in our pockets. Construction is well under way on the Xile flagship store which is set to blow your minds this summer. We have settled on 12 Frederick Street as our new home as you can't get much more central than that and with the grand space and features we found within the unit we think it will be the ultimate shopping destination. With our regular high end and casual fashion mixed with sportswear and our great selection of denim brands our buyers have been working hard and picked up some new brands for the summer launch.
